The condos in St. Louis Park: Excelsior and Grand

Lately I have been getting a lot of questions from buyers as to what I think the future holds for the condo market. That is a tough question to answer for us Realtors because if we did know... we would not be working! The best thing for us to tell buyers are the facts. For one we do not hold a crystal ball.... and for 2, let us weigh the pros and cons of buying a condo, and the risks associated with it.

Condos are great for people who do not want any maintenance that comes along with owning an older home, and for people who want modern amenities without having to maintain them: such as a pool or a gym facility. Also, if you travel a lot for work you can just leave your place and not worry about the security of it, as most building have secure entrances.

Over the weekend I was showing a potential buyer the condos in St. Louis Park at Excelsior and Grand the prices were amazing! All the ones we looked at were priced at or even below the price of what they sold for 2 years ago! What a great opportunity for a buyer to get in a condo that is priced lower than market value! We then went across the street to check out the new ones going up and the prices were way higher! Why not buy an existing one that you can move into right away and get a better deal?
